As noted at DailyTarHeel.com on Thursday, April 12, 2012, the Tar Heel players played basketball with students and fans at Cobb Court last Wednesday afternoon, and Addis Cone was one of them, who stole the show despite his young age.

On the first part of the video, some students are seen falling in line waiting for their turn to shoot the basket ball, while some of the Tar Heel players like Reggie Bullock, Leslie McDonald and P.J. Hairston are enjoying their time playing with their fans.

Addis Cone, from Morris Grove Elementary, who can be seen starting at the 3:00 mark, makes his first shot and the crowd cheered, but they became wilder when he showed his dribbling skills in the middle of the court and scored a lay-up.

Later, the 8-year old kid acted as a point guard and showed his skills in passing the ball to Tar Heel players, running court-to-court, and even made a steal and converted it into a successful shot, bringing the crowd to scream with excitement.

On the last part of the YouTube video, which was filmed and edited by Delia D’Ambra and Zach Evans, and has nearly 600,000 views as of this writing, Addis can be seen being lifted by some of the UNC players, helping him to make a successful dunk.
