Apparently, this caused losing of jobs of about 2,600 regular employees has been strongly opposed by the Philippine Airlines Employees Association (PALEA), and resulted to street protests.

For more information of flight status, the local airline is advising the public to contact their PAL hotline at 879-5666 or 851-3011 of visit their official website (PhilippineAirlines.com) or their official Facebook page.
