5 new Apple products expected for release in 2013 revealed, iOS 7, iPad Mini Retina and iPhone 5S includedBy Angel Cuala on Jan 10, 2013 in Business, Smartphone, Software, Tablet, Technology •
A total of 5 new Apple products may be released this year, 2013, which include the ones being rumored such as new operating software and updated versions of their existing devices, along with some of the not-so-popular products that were rumored but were not consistently talked about.

As noted on a recent report at CNN Money, Kurt Wagner of Fortune Magazine compiled the list of the 5 new Apple products, as predicted by research analysts Gene Munster and Douglas Clinton of Piper Jaffray, a leading investment bank and asset management firm, which also specializes in Internet companies.
Interestingly, the first new Apple product in the list is the Apple Radio, and is being expected for release this coming March 2013. This free radio service, which will be monetized via ads, is being noted to be part of Apple iTunes. This is being predicted to be released simultaneously with the iPad Mini with Retina Display.
The iPad Mini, which was unveiled in October last year, alongside with Retina MacBook Pro, the iPad 4, and the new iMacs, sports a 7.9-inch display with 1024 x 768 resolution and a dual-core A5 chip. By theory, a retina display can provide crystal clear images on the screen, and the pixels seemed to be unnoticeable.
The next Apple product being expected for release this year is the iOS 7, the upgraded version of their iOS 6, which was highly criticized particularly the Apple Maps. Back in September 2012, Apple CEO Tim Cook apologized for the problem and even recommended their customers to use the products of their competitors.
As reported earlier, a source told The Next Web (TNW) that Apple is currently testing the iOS 7, which is now expected for release this coming June 2013, along with the iPhone 5S. Other reports said that it could be called the iPhone 6 and that Apple might be getting rid of the S index on its upcoming iPhone.
Based on the predictions of Munster and Clinton, the new iPhone 5S will be released on September 2013, contrary to what TNW reported. But without considering the release date, it is being expected to sport an updated camera, but will likely be similar to the existing iPhone 5. So, will this be the so-called cheap iPhone?
Lastly, Apple is being predicted to release the Apple TV on November 2013, which was said to be not an upgraded version of the digital receiver box Apple TV but rather an actual TV set. Munster and Clinton noted that this plasma Apple TV set measures 42″ to 55″ and will may between $1500 and $2000, a bit more expensive than those from competitors such as Samsung.
But the question is, if all of these 5 new Apple products will be released, do you think that Apple fans will still be excited and will wait in long lines at Apple stores to buy them?
