At around 10:46pm, local time, an earthquake was felt in Pangasinan and nearby locations including Baguio City, Nueva Ecija, and some areas in Metro Manila in the Philippines. Facebook and Twitter have been filled with post about the earthquake.
A quick Twitter update from Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (@phivolcs_dost) says that the earthquake is at a 4.2 magnitude with a depth of 70 km, located at 16.04°N, 120.64°E – 04 km S 82° E of Binalonan, Pangasinan.
Furthermore, the following information were also tweeted by Phivolcs:
- Intensity III- Baguio City; Caloocan City; Dagupan City;
- Intensity II- Quezon City; Pasig City; Gapan City; Pantabangan Nueva Ecija;
- Intensity I- Lucban, Quezon
No major damage has been reported yet.
