Three cute white lion cubs, two females and one male, were presented to the public for the first time in Buenos Aires city zoo in Argentina on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, international news sites reported.

The three white cubs were born on November 16, 2010 to a pair of white lions that were said to have been imported from South Africa.

According to reports, the three white lion cubs were the first white lions to be born in South America. The cubs don’t have names yet and the school children who visited the zoo took part in a contest in naming the cute white lions by dropping their suggested names in a suggestion box. The children with the winning names to be chosen will be named as god parents of the cute white lion cubs.

Reports also said that the three white lion cubs have the recessive genes that make them pure white because both parents are white.
