As noted on the press release by Toyota on its official website that day, NS4 is an advanced plug-in hybrid concept vehicle, which will have its worldwide premiere in a news conference at 2012 Detroit Auto Show.

According to Toyota, NS4 will make its debut on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 8:45 a.m. (local time) at the Riverview Ballroom at Cobo Center in the annual NAIAS event, along with its 2012 Prius c hybrid vehicle.

As of this writing, Toyota has not reveal any information about the NS4 except for the photo shown here but auto experts released their speculations on what might be the features of this latest Toyota green car.

Motor Authority noted that the 2013 Toyota NS4 is being expected to show the automaker’s new design language and sportier in appearance and far less conservative than their recent concepts.

On the other hand, Green Car Reports said that NS4 has some components with the 60 mpg plug-in Prius, in which Toyota is likely to have plug-in hybrids as a big part of their business in the future.

Early this month, Chrysler released a teaser of its 2013 Dodge Dart, a bit similar to the Dodge Dart of the late 1960s, which will also be launched at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show this January.
