2012 SAG Awards: 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards winners announced (Complete List)

Jean Dujardin and Viola Davis led the winners for the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards (2012 SAG Awards) on Sunday, January 29, 2012, with the complete list of winners available below.

As noted at entertainment news sites, the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards event was held on Sunday night at the Shrine Exhibition Center in Los Angeles, and as aired live on TNT and TBS.

Jean Dujardin of “The Artist” won the “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role” award, and Viola Davis of “The Help” won the “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role” award.

On the other hand, Christopher Plummer of “Beginners” won the “Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor in a Supporting Role” award, while Octavia Spencer of “The Help” won the female counterpart.

Apparently, the awards for Outstanding Action Performances by Stunt Ensembles in Film and Television were announced prior the start of the show and went to “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” and “Game of Thrones“, respectively.

Mary Tyler Moore was later given the SAG Life Achievement Award which was presented to her by Dick Van Dyke, her co-star on the 1960s sit-com “The Dick Van Dyke Show”.

* Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Television Movie Or Miniseries – Paul Giamatti, “Too Big to Fail”

* Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Television Movie Or Miniseries – Kate Winslet, “Mildred Pierce”
