The 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which was held this Sunday, September 23, 2012, has announced its winners. Nevertheless, observers have also revealed their choices of the celebrities to be in the worst dressed list, which include Phoebe Price, Glenn Close, and Claire Danes, as shown in the photos below.
As noted at US entertainment sites on Sunday night, red-haired Phoebe Price walked in the red carpet wearing bright orange heels, with her wild-ruffled gown featuring an oversized flower on the bust. Styleite.com describes it as somehow similar to “a runover from a failed high school science lab project.”
According to Examiner, Price, an American actress/model and is primarily known for her frequent Hollywood red carpet appearances, is always included in all “Worst Dressed” list in the events she attended. Back In June 2008, Price planned to sue Chanel when she was not allowed to enter a boutique opening in L.A.
Meanwhile, also included in the 2012 Emmy Awards worst dressed list is Glenn Close, who wore a black dress with criss-crossing black lines and lace pattern underneath, which Time.com describes as “too busy and distracting.” Ms. Close was nominated for Leading Actress in a Drama Series for her role in ‘Damage.’
On the other hand, Claire Danes, who won the Lead Actress for her role at Homeland which also grabbed the Outstanding Drama Series award, wore a bright yellow and bold dress by Lanvin, but reportedly failed to show properly her growing baby bump. Her choice of dress style was said to made her looked like she was 20 years older.
Apparently, most fashion keen observers noted that the other celebrities included in the worst dressed list are Juliana Marguiles, Elisabeth Moss, January Jones, Anna Chlumsky, and Julianne Moore, who won the Oustanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie award for her role as Sarah Palin in ‘Game Change.’
For the best dressed that night, Heidi Klum notably led the list by showing off her supermodel legs in a flowing, seafoam green couture gown designed by Alexander Vauthier. Among the other celebrities who notably shine on their dresses are Sofia Vergara, Jessica Pare, Tina Fey, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
