Although “Tower Heist” has topped the Friday Box Office, while “Puss in Boots” came in second, “Puss in Boots” however, has remained the no. 1 Box Office movie as the week came to an end. This was revealed by U.S. entertainment sites, Saturday and Sunday, November 5 & 6, 2011.

Reportedly, it is the second week in a row that “Puss in Boots,” a story about the adventures of a cat with a sword, earned the top spot. This is because more people have wanted to watch a family movie during the weekend, reports said.

According to earlier reports, “Tower Heist” was leading the Friday Box Office with $8 million, while “Puss in Boots” came in second with $7.8 million. The weekend, however has favored the latter with its increase in ticket sales.

Additional reports stated that the action comedy movie, “Tower Heist” stars Eddie Murphy, Ben Stiller, Tea Leoni, and Casey Affleck. It is directed by Brett Ratner.

On the other hand “Puss in Boots” includes the voices of Antonio Banderas, Zach Galifianakis and Salma Hayek.  It is directed by Chris Miller.

Reportedly, “Puss in Boots” had grossed about $33 million for the week, while “Tower Heist” took in $25.1 million.
