As reported, May 18, 2011 by various entertainment news sites, American Idol goes back tonight as Haley Reinhart, Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery take the stage for three song performances each and of Randy Jackson being very vocal about the girls needing to advance their performance in order for them to compete with Scotty.

Apparently, American Idol’s final three goes back again tonight with each of them doing three performances as well as the judge’s choice.

According to an interview by MTV, Randy Jackson said that the girls need to step up their game if they want to beat Scotty McCreery.

Purportedly Randy was quoted saying, “This has to be their best performances of their time on ‘Idol’. It has to be the best song choices and they have judges’ pick this week, so we pick one but, also, they gotta slay it, dude, out of the park.”

However, it was allegedly known as proven last week that it has nothing to do with their performance level. It was assumed that maybe Randy himself is rooting for Scotty to win it all.
