‘Avatar Theme Park in Disney World, Florida, the First ‘Pandora’ Inspired Park to Start Building in 2013

An “Avatar” theme park is slated to open at the Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Walt Disney Co will start construction of the first ‘Avatar’ ‘’Pandora’’ themed park in 2013. US local news revealed, September 21, 2011.

Apparently, this resulted from the deal between James Cameron, the director of “Avatar,’ Jon Landau, co-producer, 20th Century Fox, and Walt Disney Co.

Cameron has been discussing with the theme park engineers about Avatar’s fictional world, Pandora and how to bring it back ‘alive’  in the park, with Avatar theme park rides. The ‘Avatar’ inspired theme land will be featured in the 4th, newest, theme park of Disney World, which is the Disney Animal Kingdom.

Avatar,’ the movie is about the local humanoid tribe of Na’vi in the moon of Pandora. This sci-fi movie was an international blockbuster earning about $2,782,275,172.

The ‘Avatar’’ theme park Disney is expected to be finished three years after its ground breaking ceremony, with its Pandora inspired theme park rides and environment.
