A Vatican news website will be launched next week, as Pope Benedict XVI was confirmed to be visiting Madrid in the forthcoming 2011 World Youth Day, as reported in the news video below.
As noted in international news sites on Saturday, June 25, 2011, Vatican will launch a news information website on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, in which the Pope himself may also be online.
According to reports, the Vatican news portal, www.news.va, will provide online news from different media resources such as radio and TV from Vatican.
Apparently, June 29 is also the 60th anniversary of the ordination of Pope Benedict XVI as a priest and feast day for the Catholic Church.
Meanwhile, Vatican has also confirmed that Pope Benedict XVI will visit Madrid for the celebration of 2011 World Youth Day, which will be from August 16 to 21, 2011.
As reported at Rome Reports, Pope Benedict XVI will arrive in Madrid on Thursday, August 18, 2011, and will be greeted by hundreds of people particularly the youth as he rides the pope mobile.
