Manila, Philippines. – Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) is now providing free wifi service to some of the top utility bus lines in Metro Manila, Smart announced on their press release published today, June 8, 2012.
According to the press release published on their online “Newsroom“, participating Metro Manila bus operators include Fermina Express (FermEx), BOVJEN, Everlasting Bus Company, Inc. (Everlasting), Ismael Bus Line (IBL) and Universal Guiding Star Bus Line (Universal Guiding). These special Smart-powered public buses operate at key city routes which include Ayala Avenue, Baclaran, EDSA, Fairview, Lagro, Malanday, and Quiapo.

“This service will enable commuters to make good use of their travel time — allowing them to check their mail, do last-minute changes to a presentation for school or work, or simply stay connected with friends and loved ones, while aboard public buses,” Mellissa B. Limcaco, Smart Brand Head, said in the press release.
Smart‘s free wifi service on public buses will be available until August 31, 2012, the press release said.
