Smallville’s finale features Clark Kent getting wed with Lois Lane and Lex Luthor’s return. The Superman series began in October 2001 and was widely watched by international fans, now the series has ended with this fitting episode. This was reported by entertainment news sites, May 14, 2011.
Smallville is where the young Superman, Clark Kent (Tom Welling), grew up and first found his enemies and friends. This was the place where Clark found Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) who started his designs against Superman. Clark Kent also met the love of his life, Lois Lane (Erica Durance.)
Smallville’s finale featured also a montage of the essential scenes from the past of the popular Superman episodes. Reportedly majority of Superman fans were satisfied with the grand finale.
