Ruffa Gutierrez hugs, kisses honest taxi driver for returning her lost shoes

Manila, Philippines – Local actress-host and beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez hugged and kissed the honest taxi driver who returned her lost shoes recently.

According to ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, Ruffa Gutierrez met with taxi driver Ariel Dalangin at DZMM’s “Aksyon Ngayon” radio program that day.
Dalangin was reported to have returned 6 pairs of shoes of the actress which cost about $4,000 (more than P170,000), or roughly P28,500 each.
“Lorraine and Venice, this is a friendly hug, this is a friendly kiss,” Ruffa reportedly told her two daughters who were present when the expensive shoes were returned.
“Sana lahat ng mga taxi drivers kasing honest niya, na talagang nagsasauli,” the 37-year old actress added, who also gave an undisclosed amount of money to the honest taxi driver.

“My missing shoes were returned to DZMM by Mr. Ariel, the honorable taxi driver with a clean conscience. Mabuhay ang mabuting PILIPINO!” Ruffa tweeted on Tuesday, noting that she will hug and kiss the driver if they meet.
Apparently, Gutierrez’ shoes were recently left by her personal aide named Jimmy inside Dalangin‘s taxi in Greenhills, San Juan City, which were reported on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Dalangin told reports he thought that a female passenger might have left the shoes, which he brought home while his wife went to DZMM radio station the next day.
