RTC Judge: Kris Aquino and James Yap ‘to keep silent’ on their marriage issue

Estranged couple actress Kris Aquino and PBA superstar James Yap was instructed by an RTC judge not to publicly talk about Aquino’s request nullify their marriage.

Judge Cristina Sulit of the Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 140 instructed the couple to keep silent in public on their marriage issue, as the court hears the actress-TV host’s petition.

“When we were in court last week, Judge Sulit gave us strict instructions—no interviews or discussions about our case and our past relationship.” Kris said.

“For me, it has been easy to obey her, because I have full respect for our judicial system. And the last thing I’d ever do is not obey the judge’s ‘bilin’ (instruction).” She added.

That’s why all my tweets and public pronouncements have been very careful,” stated Aquino on Twitter last August 27.

After Kris Aquino meets with James Yap in a hearing on their child custody issue, many people have noticed that the youngest sister of President Noynoy Aquino stop talking on the issue.

Their separation has been talk of the town for months after Kris Aquino announced on national TV that she called it ‘quits’ with her marriage to James Yap.

But despite all of this, Kris Aquino said she is staying positive as she spends lots of quality time with her 2 sons, Josh and Baby James.

She’s also thankful to her brother, President Benigno (Noynoy) Aquino III, for his support during this difficult time.

“I’m sorry that our home life ended up the way it is. But I know we are blessed because my brother makes Josh, Bimby (Baby James), and me feel that we are loved and all will be okay,” she said.

Recently, Kris also announced that she is adopting a new life mantra.

On Tuesday morning, the actress-TV host posted on her Twitter account that she is “trying to stop living in the past. She added that she should instead focus on the present.”

“I’m learning to not live in the past or worry too much about tomorrow, but just focus on now. Less stress, more joy! Good morning!” Aquino said.

Aquino also posted this passage on Twitter: “The secret of health for both mind & body is not to mourn for the past nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly.”

Kris Aquino, the youngest daughter of the late former president Corazon Aquino, is one of the most controversial personalities in local show business.
