According to international news, Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s royal wedding day will be a national holiday in Britain, whenever it may be.
Prime Minister David Cameron already declared it as a national holiday. If the wedding falls on a Saturday, workers will have either Friday or Monday off as well.
The royal wedding date is not yet announced. Some speculate that it could be on May next year, while others say it could be between March and August.
It was reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton have already a specific wedding date and venue in mind. However, they still need to consult with all relevant parties before making the announcement.
“They’re not going to be rushed and want to take things at their own pace. They’re very important decisions to make and like any couple they want to make sure they’ve properly considered all of the factors,” a spokesman for St. James’ Palace said.
Speculations are buzzing on the internet that a time and place for the royal wedding would be announced today.
