PAGASA Weather Forecast: Bagyong Gener Continues To Threaten Extreme Northern Luzon

According to PAGASA Severe Weather Bulletin Number Five issued at 11:00 am on Sunday, July 29, 2012, Gener was located at 310 km east northeast of Casiguran, Aurora as of 10:00 am. It moves north northwest at 11 kph and has a maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph.

Public storm warning signals have been raised on the following areas:
Signal No. 2
- Cagayan
- Calayan Group of Islands
- Babuyan Group of Islands
Signal No. 1
- Isabela
- Kalinga
- Apayao
- Batanes Group of Islands
Rains are expected over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao especially the western section as Gener is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon.
