Manny Pacquiao lost from Timothy Bradley on Saturday June 9, 2012 (Sunday, June 10 Manila time), held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas via split decision, but the crowd did not seem to believe the result.

As featured live at HBO PPV, Timothy Bradley won against Manny Pacquiao and successfully took the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight championship belt from him, when two judges scored 115-113 in favor of him, while one scored 115-113 for Pacquiao.
Before the fight, Kirby Asunto sang the Philippine national anthem (Lupang Hinirang) for the side of Manny Pacquiao, while American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez sang the US national anthem (The Star-Spangled Banner).
From Round 1 to 7, Pacquiao, a southpaw, was seen over-powering Bradley, who is an orthodox, just as predicted by a lot of observers earlier, including Coach Freddie Roach and even UFC President Dana White.
For Round 8, there were mixed reactions from some observers and was noted to be close fight, and some scored it for Bradley for the first time, while others scored it still for the eight-time boxing champion. Rounds 9 and 10 were mostly given to Timothy Bradley.
For the remaining two rounds, Bradley was said to won them and notably even more convincing that his early round winnings, and later officially announced as the winner. He told reporters that he will review the tape to see if he really won.
On the other hand, Pacquiao told HBO commentator Max Kellerman that he respects the judges’ decision but says he “absolutely” believes he won, with Top Rank promoter Bob Arum confirming that a Pacquiao vs Bradley rematch will happen on November 10, 2012.
