Oprah Winfrey Statement On Miss Universe 2011 Results Not True

Oprah Winfrey‘s statement circulating on social networking sites favoring Shamcey Supsup has been reported to be a hoax, according to the moderators of Oprah Winfrey‘s official website on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 .
On Tuesday, after the result of the Miss Universe 2011 pageant, Oprah allegedly said in an interview by NBC News that Ms. Philippines Shamcey Supsup deserves to win the crown.
The moderators of Oprah.com answered some query about the rumored statement and have said that “there is no truth to the statement and that Ms. Winfrey did not issue “any comments of this nature.”
Below is the screen shot from the official website of Oprah Winfrey.
Meanwhile, NBC News has not issued any confirmation or statement either on its official Twitter account about the rumored statement of Ms. Winfrey.
