In the ad, Jay-Z can be seen inside a studio, apparently conceptualizing his 12th solo album with producers Rick Rubin, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, and Pharrell Williams. Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets are also featured in the ad, along with the tagline, “The Next Big Thing is here.”

As noted in the message at MagnaCartaHolyGrail.com, one million owners of the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy Note II will get a free “Magna Carta Holy Grail” album, and can be downloaded via a special mobile app on Monday, June 24, 2013. The album will be unlocked on Thursday, July 4, 12:01 a.m. E.T, 72 hours (3 days) before it will be officially released.

According to a report at Wall Street Journal, a person familiar with the matter told them that Samsung paid $5 to Jay-Z for each album copy. This means that the rap icon will earn a cool $5 million even before his new album will be released. In addition, the “Magna Carta Holy Grail” album will instantly be ranked Platinum.

As aired live on CBS on Sunday night, the 67th Annual Tony Awards was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Kinky Boots, which is based on the 2005 British movie with the same title, won six awards. This includes Best Musical award and Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) for Cyndi Lauper.

“I want to thank Harvey Fierstein for calling me up. I’m so glad I was done with the dishes and answered the phone. I want to thank Broadway for welcoming me. I understand how hard you work…your hard work inspires me.” Cyndi Lauper said, while accepting her trophy for her Broadway debut for the 15-song score.

On the other hand, Cicely Tyson won her first ever Tony Award at 79. She won the Best Performance by an Actress in a Lead Role award in a play for her role as Carrie Watts in “The Trip To Bountiful.” This is her Broadway comeback after 30 years; her last stage performance was in 1983, for “The Corn is Green.”

Meanwhile, “Pippin” and “Matilda the Musical” shared four awards each. “The Nance” and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” won three awards each. As aired at ABS-CBN today, Sunday, June 2, 2013, Charice Pempengco finally admitted that she is a lesbian, after keeping her silence for a long time. She also confirmed her real relationship with Alyssa Quijano, and talked about the alleged feud with her mother, Mommy Raquel Pempengco.

“Opo, tomboy po ako. Hindi ko po alam kung ano ang problema nun. Kasi para po sa akin wala pong problema yun. Ngayon gusto ko pong humingi ng patawad sa mga hindi po nakaintindi, sa mga hindi po ako matatanggap. Sorry po. Naiintindihan ko po kayo. Pero sa lahat ng makakatanggap, matatanggap po ako maraming maraming salamat po.”

(Yes, I am a lesbian. I don’t know what’s the problem with that. I have no problem with that, though. Now, I just want to apologize to those who cannot understand, to those who cannot accept me. I am sorry. I understand all of you. But if you can understand and accept me, thank you very much.)

Later, Boy Abunda asked Charice about her rumored relationship with Alyssa Quijano, a member of AKA JAM group that became after famous at X Factor Philippines. The 21-year old “Pyramid” singer said that she and Alyssa have known each other since they were 10 and 9 years old, and competed against each other on singing contests.

“Sana mabuksan niyo yung puso ko para makita niyo yung sagot! (I wish you can open my heart to see my answer.” Charice told Boy Abunda, when he asked her if she loves Alyssa, noting that Alyssa is a very special person to her, her inspiration, and one of the sources of her strength.

Earlier on the interview, Charice admitted that she had a misunderstanding with her Mommy Raquel and that she knows that her mother was hurt more than she was. However, the singer emphasized that they are now civil to each other and still trying to patch up things.

Charlie Sheen changes his name back to Carlos Irwin Estevez. But will the make a difference now? Is it too late that Sheen changes name back to Estevez?

At the start of his acting career, Estevez used his American name, Charlie Sheen. According to the actor, “I started using Sheen, I thought I’d give it a try, and before I knew it, I started making a living with it and then it was too late. In fact, one of my great regrets is that I didn’t keep my name as it was given to me. I knew it bothered my dad.”

The actor earlier revealed that he used Charlie Sheen because he cannot get any job. He used his American name onscreen but never adopted it legally.

Sheen is reportedly reverting to old name after he landed a role in the movie, Machete Kills, of Robert Rodriguez. This will be the first time that his legal name will be seen on the billings of his movie.

As introduced by Ellen on her show, the title of the 4-minute soap is “The Tales Of Our Yesterday’s Tomorrow,” and the first scene featured Ellen, who plays as Dolly and wears tacky golden dress, along with a short brown wig role of Dolly. A male character with a fake mustache named Paco sits beside her in a sofa, and the two acted like they are into a forbidden relationship.

Shortly after the man left, a female character named Polly (Polyester Wellington) appeared. She was Ellen‘s sister on the soap and was played by Portia de Rossi, Ellen‘s real life wife. Polly showed Dolly a fake mustache and told her that the maid found it in her bedroom. The usual dramatic scenes of soap opera followed, except that they were funny and the crowd loves it.

Dolly immediately called her housekeeper named Janet, played by Jennifer Aniston, who was dressed as French maid and even spoke French dialogue. Dolly appeared to be confronting Janet, and once again, there was slapping on the face and supposed dramatic scene that turned out comical.

Later, someone knocked on the door and it was John Aniston, who is also known for playing the on and off role of Victor Kiriakis, which he portrayed on NBC‘s daily drama TV series “Days Of Our Life” starting 1985. The audience applauded for his rare appearance. Mr. Aniston, now 79, revealed to Polly and Dolly that he is not their biological father, and that his real daughter is the French maid, Janet.

Jennifer Aniston and her dad embraced and brought more delight to the crowd. To ease the “pain” of the two sisters, Mr. Aniston said told them that he was able to find their biological mother, who later appeared and hugged them. The entire cast bowed in front of the audience and they received a loud applause.

Earlier, a “Friends” reunion happened via a short video clip exclusively made for Ellen‘s show. On that scene, Jennifer Aniston visited Matthew Perry, who played as Chandler Bing on “Friends.” Jennifer eventually learned that Courteney Cox (who played Monica Geller) was there. To add surprise, Ellen and Portia were also there.

As noted at NBA.com, Will and Jaden Smith were sitting courtside during the Game 5 of the NBA playoff for the Eastern Conference semifinals between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat at the AmericanAirlines Arena, in Miami, Florida. Steve Kerr and Marv Albert were doing the anchor that time.

With 7:23 minutes remaining at the third quarter of the game after returning from a commercial break, the father and son tandem was focused by the TV camera and was seen talking to each other. But when Marv Albert acknowledged their presence, Craig Sager was at the right place on the right time.

Sager, who was then wearing pink and blue checkered blazer, was reportedly encouraged by Albert and Kerr to do the photobomb. He was seated behind Will and Jaden, when he noticed that the camera was focusing them. Sager positioned himself, making sure that he is seen on camera, and waved his hand, smiling at the camera.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat beat the Chicago Bulls, 94-91, and has advanced to the NBA Eastern Conference Finals for the third consecutive season after their 4-1 series victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. For Will and his son Jaden, their movie “After Earth” will premiere in the US on May 31, 2013, which receives a free promotion during the Will Smith photobomb, as flashed on the TV screen.

“Big news – and I want to tell you first: (Looking forward to one more great year!)” Barbara Walters (@BarbaraJWalters) tweeted this Sunday, May 12, 2013, adding a link to a report at ABC News, announcing her retirement in 2014.

“For decades, Barbara Walters has inspired millions with her groundbreaking interviews — but after 37 years with ABC News, the newscaster is announcing on “The View” Monday that next summer, she will retire from TV journalism.” A statement reads at ABCNews.go.com this Sunday.

According to ABC News, Walters, 83, will still appear on “The View,” and will be anchoring specials throughout the year, including a “20 Years of 10 Most Fascinating People” special this coming December. She will also remain as the Executive Producer of “The View,” which she created back in 1997.

“I am very happy with my decision and look forward to a wonderful and special year ahead both on ‘The View’ and with ABC News. I created ‘The View’ and am delighted it will last beyond my leaving it.” Barbara Walters said. She started her hosting career in 1961 at NBC‘s “Today Show,” and later became the show’s co-host.

“No one was more surprised than I, I wasn’t beautiful, like many of the women on the program before me, [and] I had trouble pronouncing my r’s. I still do!” Walters added, became the first female anchor on an evening news program via ABC‘s “Evening News” in 1976.

“There’s only one Barbara Walters. And we look forward to making her final year on television as remarkable, path-breaking and news-making as Barbara herself. Barbara will always have a home at ABC News and we look forward to a year befitting her brilliant career, filled with exclusive interviews, great adventures, and indelible memories.” ABC News President Ben Sherwood said.

According to a report at Today.com this Sunday, May 12, 2013, Seth Meyers was named as the new “Late Night” show host, and the show will be titled “Late Night With Seth Meyers.” As part of his SNL gig for 12 seasons, Meyers has been also the host of its parody segment “Weekend Update’ desk for seven seasons.

“We think Seth is one of the brightest, most insightful comedy writers and performers of his generation. His years at SNL‘s ‘Weekend Update’ desk, not to mention being head writer of the show for many seasons, helped him hone a topical brand of comedy that is perfect for the ‘Late Night’ franchise.” NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt was quoted in a statement.

“On behalf of Steve Burke, Ted Harbert and Paul Telegdy, we couldn’t be happier that Seth and Jimmy Fallon will be continuing their careers at NBC after growing up in this network’s late night legacy.” Greenblatt added. No details were given on the exact date for the “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”

“I only have to work for Lorne (Michaels) for five more years before I pay him back for the time I totaled his car. 12:30 on NBC has long been incredible real estate. I hope I can do it justice.” Seth Meyers said. Michaels is the executive producer of “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” and will also be working with him on the reiteration of the “Late Night” show.

Diesel, 45, was recently interviewed by Entertainment Weekly for his latest movie “Fast & Furious 6,” which is scheduled for release on May 24, 2013, where he was asked about the attributes that led to his millions of Facebook followers; or exactly 41,562,751 Likes, as of this writing.

“So, when I had started my page, the only person that had a million fans was Barack Obama. Because it was first-quarter 2009, and he’d just got elected as President, because of social media. So, when I started talking to the fans, I became the No. 1 page in the world. Over Coca-Cola, over huge companies. And it was only because I said: “Hi, guys, I love you.” Vin Diesel told Entertainment Weekly.

“What was unique was: I never let anyone do a post, I never let anyone post for me in the last four years. My audience knows me so well on the page that if my producing partner’s in the room when I post, they’ll know somebody was around me. That’s kind of cool, that’s how sophisticated they are. Facebook really owes me billions of dollars.” Diesel jokingly added.

“You have an extra layer of protection in a weird way. I call on my angels because of that. If I’m doing a photo shoot with a leopard, and the leopard gets loose, and nobody got eaten, you kind of go: There must be something to that energy everyone has.” Diesel replied, when asked of his thoughts on the other side of his 41m Facebook followers.

Just recently, Will and Monifa Sims stopped in a gas station. Will stepped out from their car and is about to load gas, when a TV screen with an interactive news segment host Jack Rafferty (portrayed by comedian Timothy Stack), but Will did not mind him and start humming a song while preparing to pay for the gas.

Then, Tim Stack called his attention, saying that he has a good singing voice. At first, Will did not realize that the host was talking to him, and was later surprised but managed to keep his composure. Stack offered him a free gas if he can sing a song to him right away and Will agreed without any hesitation, saying that he is an 80s kid and loves the songs of Bon Jovi.

The host asked Will if he can sing Bon Jovi‘s “Living on a Prayer” and offered him lyrics on the karaoke, but Will replied, “No, I know them baby,” and began to sing. His wife Monifa, who was left inside the car, cannot help but to laugh, as Will starts to attract attention from other gas customers. The couple did not know that there were hidden cameras capturing that entertaining moment.

After Will finished the song, Stack asked him if wants to do a duet with his wife. At first, he declined the offer, but Monifa was eventually convinced to step outside the cat, and later belted the song “Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics. The couple sang and danced, and was very entertaining, that the host invited them to guest at “Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” where they sang again “Living on a Prayer.”
