Michael Clarke Duncan, famously known for his role in “The Green Mile“, died on Monday, September 3, 2012 in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 54, announced by several international news sites that day.
According to reports, Michael Clarke Duncan never fully recovered from the myocardial infarction he suffered last July.
It was reported that his girlfriend, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, saved his life during the July 13 heart attack by performing CPR before he was transported to the hospital.
Duncan‘s publicist Joy Fehily was quoted in a related report saying, “[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date.”
Duncan apparently made handful of roles before “The Green Mile“. He is known for his appearances in movies such as “Armageddon“, “The Whole Nine Yards“, “Brother Bears” and “Daredevil“.
