The Miami Heat avenged their worst loss of the 2011 NBA season by winning over the San Antonio Spurs, 110-80, according to NBA.com on Monday, March 15, 2011.
Miami lost to San Antonio, 125-95, last March 4, 2011, but the Heat was able to turn back the tide against the Spurs with the same winning margin on Monday night’s game.
Chris Bosh led the Miami win as he scored 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Dwyane Wade added 29 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and blocked two shots for the Heat. LeBron James finished the game by scoring 21 points, and dishing out eight assists.
The Heat have won three straight games and moved to within two games of Eastern Conference leaders Boston and Chicago.
The Spurs was led by Tony Parker who scored 18 points, while Tim Duncan added 14 points.
The loss was San Antonio‘s worst loss of the season as Miami dominated the stat sheet. Miami outrebounded the Spurs, 47-33 and the Heat shot better with 54 percent against the Spurs‘ 38 percent.
