Madonna was caught on camera believed to singing a portion of Born This Way‘ ala Lady Gaga style during her recent 2012 world tour concert rehearsal, adding “she’s not me” in the end, as shown in the video below.

According to the description on the YouTube video, which was uploaded on Sunday, May 27, 2012, Madonna sang Lady Gaga‘s ‘Born This Way‘ that day, while rehearsing in Tel Aviv, Israel, and mixed the song with her 1987 hit “Express Yourself” and her 2008 single “She’s Not Me“.
Madonna, 53, whose 2012 world tour to start on Tuesday, May 29 at the Ramat Gam Stadium in Tel Aviv, and will continue in 26 European cities and 26 North American cities, as part of her latest album MDNA, which was released on March 23, 2012 via Interscope Records.
Last January, Madonna was interviewed by ABC‘s ‘20/20‘ and was asked to comment about the observation of some music fans that ‘Express Yourself‘ and ‘Born This Way‘ have a lot of similarities, and that Lady Gaga may be copying her style.
“I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song. I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was… interesting.” Madonna was quoted as saying, while Lady Gaga told the Daily Mirror UK last November that the ‘Material Girl’ singer has been a wonderful influence to her.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga will be in Singapore this week to continue her ‘The Born This Way Ball‘ concert tour, after her Indonesia concert has been canceled due to security threat, while her Manila concert last week pursued despite protest of some local personalities and religious groups, and accused her of being an “anti-Christ”.
