Heath Ledger’s tree house has been sold to Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson, international news sites reported on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
According to reports, the house known as “The Tree House” because of its predominantly wooden structure and its surrounding dense foliage was constructed in 1951. It was first bought by Ledger and Michelle Williams, his girlfriend during that time, from Ellen DeGeneres in 2006.
Reports said that the owner who bought the house from Ledger‘s estate listed the property in September 2011 for $2.995 million. However, the actual payment made by Hutcherson for the house was not revealed.
The house was said to be a 1,861 square-foot-pad, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
