Giants ticker-tape Parade on February 7 To be Held at Canyon Of Heroes Route

New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg announced the location of the Giant’s ticker-tape parade to be on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. The parade location was announced via twitter and via nyc.gov just after the super bowl 46 winner was proclaimed.

The ticker-tape parade will begin at Battery Place and Washington Street at 11 a.m. ET and continue northbound up the Canyon of Heroes to Worth Street. The parade will be followed by a ceremony at City Hall Plaza at which the Mayor will present the NY Giants with Keys to the City.
According to Wikipedia, “Canyon of Heroes” is a colloquialism referring to the section of New York City‘s lower Broadway and the Financial District that is the historic location of the city’s ticker-tape parades.
