According to newly released reports on lifestyle and travel, Singapore Airlines has now added ‘e-Magazine’, another function to their in-flight Wi-Fi Internet and communication services.
Reportedly confirmed and relatively described by one news source that this new feature is indeed a world’s first to offer a selection of 20 international titles of magazines including The Economist, Bloomberg, Businessweek, Wall Street, Journal Magazine, Prestige and Elle.
Based on the description of that same report, titles will be loaded onto the airline’s entertainment system, which can directly display the pages in high resolution on the seatback display.
As further informed through another news article, this e-Magazine feature will be available first on its Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-300ER fleets and progressively on the airline’s Airbus A330-300 and A340-500 planes.
In addition, same report cited that the airline would extend this feature to include e-newspapers, e-books, and a much wider selection of international and local magazines.
