Kaia Jordan Gerber, Cindy Crawford’s daughter, recently posed for a Young Versace ad, as shown in the photo below, making a debut in the modeling career that her mother is very well known for.

According to entertainment news sites on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, Kaia, only 10 years old, the second child and the first daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford with husband Rande Gerber.
As noted in reports, Kaia wore a stylish jacket and skirt outfit from the famous Italian designer, with her mother Cindy also present on the set when photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot made the shots.
“Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift,” Donatella Versace was quoted in a press release, talking about Cindy Crawford’s daughter, who will be the new face of Young Versace.
“The camera really, really loves her. Having Cindy on-set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother’s footsteps!” Versace added, who is also the line’s creative director.
“I’m so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace campaign. I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella.” Cindy Crawford reportedly said.
“There is something so very special about the House of Versace. Being on-set with my daughter watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience. I am so proud of her.” The 45-year old supermodel added.
The Young Versace line, the brand’s label for kids, 0 to 12 years old, made its debut at the Pitti Immagine Bimbo in Florence on Thursday and will be sold in both the U.S. and at the Young Versace boutique in Milan.
