Manila, Philippines – International singing sensation Charice Pempengco is reportedly chosen to be a judge in the upcoming reality show X Factor Philippines“, which is now conducting auditions around the country.

As noted by ABS-CBN on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, Charice was confirmed to be among the “X Factor” Pinoy version judges, with the show to be hosted by actress-singer KC Concepcion and to be shown on their network soon.
Apparently, the report was believed to have started on a post at PhilStar last Sunday, where columnist Bum Tenorio, who happens to be Charice‘s godfather, wrote about her role at “X Factor Philippines“.
“I also told them that Charice would be the only female judge in the local version of the worldwide hit talent search, X Factor, on ABS-CBN.” Tenorio wrote on his report titled “Meet the Chasters“, referring to Charice fans in Japan.
“As for the resurgence of Sunshine Corazon on Glee, I said I knew something about it but my lips were sealed for the moment. And if plans push through, Charice will do the lead role in the musical film version of a Broadway musical soon.” Tenorio added.
Apparently, Tenorio also noted that tickets for Charice‘s first solo Asian concert called Infinity Tour 2012, which will start in Tokyo on March 14, have been sold out months ago, which the concert to be held also in different parts of Japan, as well as in Manila on Friday, March 9.
