Bradley-Pacquiao Review: WBO To Review The Fight With 5 Recognized International Judges

World Boxing Organization (WBO) announced on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, through its official website that their president, Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel will review the Pacquiao-Bradley fight “to take measures in accordance with the rules of procedure.”
According to the announcement, WBO‘s Championship Committee will meet soon and will examine the fight with “five recognized international judges.” It said that the committee will make its recommendation according to the rules.
“I want to clarify that in no way this says that we are doubting the capacity of these judges, which we consider as honest and competent judges,” Valcárcel was quoted as saying.
The Pacquiao-Bradley fight ended in a controversial split decision in favor of Bradley last Saturday (Sunday in the Philippines), making him WBO‘s welterweight title holder.
