According to Bloomberg on Friday, January 13, 2012, three people with the product told them that the Apple‘s next generation iPad, or the iPad 3, is expected to go on sale in March and will run faster.

As noted in the report, the insider said the iPad 3 will sport a high-definition screen, which is in line with the earlier report of a Taiwanese technology site that the much-awaited iPad is expected to use IGZO (indium gallium zinc oxide) flat panels to upgrade the display resolution.

Bloomberg noted one of the two people said that Apple has started the mass production of iPad 3 this month and is planning to optimize its volume on February, and the other two said that the iPad 3 to use a quad-core chip, an enhancement that allows users to jump more quickly between applications.

However, the iPad 3, which is reportedly being assembled by Foxconn Technology Group, has no partner yet but AT&T and Verizon Wireless have both LTE networks, while Sprint is also rolling one.
