American Idol 2012 Top 13 Elimination Result: Jeremy Rosado eliminated, Jessica Sanchez among 12 finalists

Jeremy Rosado got eliminated during the American Idol 2012 Top 13 elimination night on Thursday, March 8, 2012, while Jessica Sanchez was among the remaining 12 finalists.

As featured at Fox on Thursday night, Jeremy Rosado, who was earlier voted by fans during the Top 24 elimination night but was saved by the judges, became the first finalist to be eliminated from the show.

Last Wednesday night, the seven boys performed Stevie Wonder songs while the six girls paid tribute to the late on Whitney Houston, wherein Jessica Sanchez was praised by the judges as well as the audience for her rendition of “I Will Always Love You“.

During the Thursday show, host Ryan Seacrest announced the names of the Boys Bottom 3 which includes Jeremy Rosado, Jermaine Jones, and Joshua Ledet, with the last two were later announced as ‘safe’.

For the Girls group, the Bottom 3 were Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt, and Shannon Magrane, with the last two were later announced as ‘safe’, which means Elise had to compete with Jeremy for the judges decision.

Meanwhile, finalist Philip Phillips was rushed to hospital on early Thursday but returned to the show in the evening, with his father later reportedly said that his son had a kidney problem.
