Jessica Sanchez had a duet with Jennifer Holliday during the American Idol 2012 Finale night on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, and they sang “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going“, as shown in the video below.

As featured at Fox on Wednesday night, Phillip Phillips won the American Idol Season 11 title in the star-studded show, with host Ryan Seacrest revealing that there were 132 million votes cast combined for both Phillip and Jessica.
That night, among the top entertainers who performed on stage include Chaka Khan, Rihanna, Neil Diamond, American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks, and Queen Of Broadway Gospel Jennifer Holiday, who recorded the song “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” back in 1981 and became a huge hit.
Sanchez, 16, belted out her voice while performing a duet with the 51-year old “Dreamgirls” musical singer, with Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson giving them a standing ovation while Steven Tyler is not around and preparing for his number with his band Aerosmith.
Meanwhile, Jessica Sanchez also had a solo performance earlier on the show and sang Whitney Houston‘s “I will Always Love You” which she also performed during the Top 13 performance night, where she earned a standing ovation from the judges.
On the last part of the show, before Phillip Phillips was announced as the American Idol Season 11 winner and sang “Home”, Jessica also had a duet with Phillip and they sang “Up Where We Belong”.
