8-year old rocker Juliet “My First Hardcore Song” music video goes viral (Video)

The “My First Hardcore Song” YouTube music video of an 8-year-old girl rocker named Juliet, as shown in the video below, was uploaded on Thursday, January 19, 2012, is now going viral and is getting a lot of attention.

As seen in the edgy, black and white YouTube music video, Juliet, only 8 years old, with long blonde hair, is wearing a white T-Shirt that reads “I Heart Phuket” and apparently singing like a professional rock star.

“Let’s open up this pit!” Juliet screams on the 59-second rock music video, as she slams on a trampoline filled with stuffed animals and later singing in the grass together with a dog.

“Juliet takes you on a journey of her love for her dog, Robert and how her pet fish stink even though Juliet has zero sense of smell.” A statement reads on the description of the YouTube video, along with contact information to record producer Rob Sharpe.

Apparently, links to MyFirstHardcoreSong.com and its official Facebook page were provided, where T-shirts are being sold and announcing that the song will be available at iTunes soon.

As reported at New York Daily News on Friday, January 20, 2012, the “My First Hardcore Song” music video was uploaded by Juliet‘s mom, Kristina Childs and was filmed in a local park in Brisbane, Australia.

“Within an hour of posting the song, I just started getting thousands of emails. I was like what is all this?” Childs told the paper, with the YouTube video having almost 6,638,000 views as of this writing.

“If I’m guilty of anything, it’s playing too much music for it,” Childs added, who is apparently defending herself from possible critics for allowing her 8-year old daughter to appear in the rock music video.

“When she was a baby, she wouldn’t go to sleep unless we would play Marilyn Manson or Slipknot, so it’s probably programmed somewhere in her brain.” She explained further.
